Description
AA 1100 is a commercially pure aluminum alloy (99%+ Al) alloyed with small amounts of copper (0.05–0.20%) for moderate strength enhancement. It exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent ductility, and high electrical conductivity, making it one of the most widely used pure aluminum grades. Common applications include cooking utensils, chemical process equipment, heat exchangers, and decorative trim.
