Where to Buy MPEA Mo1 Nb1 Ti1

Description

This multi-principal element alloy (MPEA) with nominal composition Mo1 Nb1 Ti1 is a predominantly face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating molybdenum, niobium, titanium. Key properties include very high melting point (>1800°C), excellent high-temperature strength retention, and good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures; molybdenum/tungsten additions provide enhanced solid-solution strengthening and creep resistance; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening. Investigated applications include high-temperature structural applications, advanced gas turbine components, nuclear energy systems, and refractory coating materials.
