This high-entropy alloy (HEA) with nominal composition Al0.15 Cr0.5 Fe1 Mn0.625 Ni0.375 is a predominantly face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Cr, Fe and 2 additional elements. Key properties include exceptional room-temperature ductility, high work hardening rate, and good corrosion resistance in aggressive media.
