Description
AA 3003 is the most widely used aluminum-manganese alloy, containing 1.0–1.5% manganese that provides moderate strength improvement over pure aluminum while retaining excellent corrosion resistance and workability. It is non-heat-treatable but responds well to cold working, and offers outstanding formability for complex shapes. Common applications include cooking utensils, heat exchangers, chemical equipment, building products, and food packaging.
