Where to Buy AA 6111 Aluminum Alloy

Description

AA 6111 is an automotive body sheet aluminum alloy with elevated copper content (~0.5–0.9% Cu) added to the Al-Mg-Si base for enhanced paint-bake hardening and higher finished-panel strength compared to 6016. It offers excellent outer panel surface quality and high dent resistance after the automotive paint-cure cycle. The alloy is used in automotive hood outer panels, trunk lids, and deck lids requiring the highest dent resistance after baking.
