Beschreibung
This complex concentrated alloy (CCA) with nominal composition Al0.25 Co0.5 Cr0.5 Cu0.5 Fe0.5 Ni0.5 Ti1 is a body-centered cubic (BCC) dominant with B2 ordered regions alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Co, Cr and 4 additional elements. Key properties include high hardness (often >500 HV), elevated yield strength, and good oxidation resistance due to Al-enriched B2 ordered phase; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening. Investigated applications include wear-resistant coatings, high-strength structural research, and elevated-temperature applications.
