This high-entropy alloy (HEA) with nominal composition Al0.667 Li0.667 Mg0.333 Sc0.667 Ti1 is a body-centered cubic (BCC) dominant with B2 ordered regions alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Li, Mg and 2 additional elements. Key properties include tunable mechanical properties through compositional adjustment, with combined solid-solution and precipitation strengthening mechanisms; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening. Investigated applications include alloy design research, structural coatings, and specialized functional applications.
