This medium-entropy alloy (MEA) with nominal composition Co0.2 Cr0.2 Fe1 Mn0.6 is a predominantly face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating cobalt, chromium, iron, and manganese. Key properties include good strength-ductility balance, high fracture toughness especially at cryogenic temperatures, and moderate corrosion resistance.
