This complex concentrated alloy (CCA) with nominal composition Al0.357 Co0.714 Cr0.714 Cu0.714 Fe0.714 Ni0.714 Ti1 is a predominantly face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Co, Cr and 4 additional elements. Key properties include exceptional room-temperature ductility, high work hardening rate, and good corrosion resistance in aggressive media; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening. Investigated applications include structural components, wear-resistant coatings, and cryogenic applications.
