This complex concentrated alloy (CCA) with nominal composition Al1 Co0.556 Cr0.556 Fe0.556 Ni0.556 Ti0.111 is a predominantly face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Co, Cr and 3 additional elements. Key properties include exceptional room-temperature ductility, high work hardening rate, and good corrosion resistance in aggressive media; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening. Investigated applications include structural components, wear-resistant coatings, and cryogenic applications.
