This high-entropy alloy (HEA) with nominal composition Al1 Co0.357 Cr0.357 Cu0.357 Fe0.357 is a predominantly face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Co, Cr and 2 additional elements. Key properties include exceptional room-temperature ductility, high work hardening rate, and good corrosion resistance in aggressive media.
