This complex concentrated alloy (CCA) with nominal composition Co1 Fe1 Mo1 Ni1 Ti1 V1 Zr1 is a predominantly face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Co, Fe, Mo and 4 additional elements. Key properties include tunable mechanical properties through compositional adjustment, with combined solid-solution and precipitation strengthening mechanisms; molybdenum/tungsten additions provide enhanced solid-solution strengthening and creep resistance; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening. Investigated applications include alloy design research, structural coatings, and specialized functional applications.
