This complex concentrated alloy (CCA) with nominal composition Al1 Co1 Cr1 Fe1 Ni1 Ti1 is a dual FCC/BCC phase alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Co, Cr and 3 additional elements. Key properties include a balance of high strength and moderate ductility with good hardness, reflecting the dual-phase FCC+BCC microstructure; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening.
