This complex concentrated alloy (CCA) with nominal composition Al1 Fe1 Ni1 Ti1 V1 Zr1 is a dual FCC/BCC phase alloy system within the multi-principal element alloy research space, incorporating Al, Fe, Ni and 3 additional elements. Key properties include tunable mechanical properties through compositional adjustment, with combined solid-solution and precipitation strengthening mechanisms; titanium additions promote intermetallic precipitation for additional strengthening. Investigated applications include alloy design research, structural coatings, and specialized functional applications.
